These are the main pages for Stat 251. The first version uses frames,
the second (like this page) does not.
You need a username and
password to access these pages. Those will be announced in the
second class. If you miss that class, see the instructor.
The first lecture will cover some material from Ross, Chapter 1.
News items, such as reading and homework assignments, will
normally be posted on the main page. However, since that page isn't
available yet, here are the reading assignments for the first
three classes:
- Tuesday, 3/30, Ross, chapter 1, as much as you can.
- Thursday, 4/01, Ross, rest of chapter 1, and sections 2.1-2.3.
- Tuesday, 4/06, Ross, sections 2.4--2.7.
