Statistics 463 is a five-week course that will focus on likelihood theory
and some related topics. It is intended primarily for graduate students
in Statistics.
The course will review basic likelihood theory and asymptotics,
and then will proceed
to discussions on exact and approximate likelihoods like: partial
likelihood (Cox,1975), dual likelihood (Mykland, 1995),
sieve likelihood (Wong and Severini, 1991), quasi-likelihood.
