• 6/13/2008  Michael J. Wichura, Associate Professor, Department of Statistics and the College, receives the Faculty Award for Excellence in Graduate Teaching at the 494th Convocation.
• 11/27/2007  The Statistics Department is currently offering a special program in survey statistics for Master's Degree students.
• 11/14/2007  Starting this quarter, course evaluations for courses in the College will be filled out by students online instead of on paper. The College will send out an email to students on Monday, November 26 encouraging participation. We are interested in your thoughts! To participate, students must login to http://cmore.uchicago.edu, go to their current course schedule, and click on the evaluation prompt.
• 9/19/2006  Starting in 2006/07, the course sequence STAT 24400-24500 will be offered twice per academic year. STAT 24400 will be taught in fall and winter quarter, and STAT 24500 in winter and spring quarter. It is anticipated that the winter-spring sequence will have significantly smaller class sizes.
