Job postings for UChicago students and alumni are centralized at the Chicago Career Connection site. Listings are industry-focused, but also include postdoc and community college opportunities. Anyone with a CNetID can access the database.
Feel free to contact CAPS (Career Advising & Planning Services) for advice and help in your job hunt, from writing a cover letter to negotiating a salary. Christine McCary is the Career Advancement representative for graduate students in the Physical Sciences Division; she is always happy to meet with students from Statistics.
Some employers contact our department or individual faculty members directly; we pass such leads on to the StatJobs listhost and post them on the bulletin board in E136 (the coffee/copy room). The archive includes all past listings.
To supplement UChicago’s resources, below is a list of other job databases that are of interest to our graduates. There is some overlap between categories.

Part-time and summer work
This page includes resources for finding full-time
employment after graduation. For part-time or summer
work, look at the student
employment website and Marketplace.
Be sure to check the terms of your support and
your visa before seeking employment while you are
a student.
