CAMI
The Computational and Applied Mathematics Initiative builds on the interdisciplinary efforts of Statistics faculty, students; their research, seminars, and classes.

Award-Winning Student
Stefano Castruccio, PhD candidate, received first-place recognition in the ASA-sponsored 2012 Environmental Statistics Student Paper Competition for the paper "Global Space-Time Models for Climate Ensembles," co-authored with Prof. Mike Stein. The paper will be presented at the Joint Statistical Meetings this August.

Bahadur Memorial Lectures
Peter J. Green of the University of Bristol and the University of Technology, Sydney was the speaker for the annual Bahadur Memorial Lectures on April 15 and 18, 2013, at 4:00 pm in Eckhart 133.
