Research Interests

I am interested in computational and statistical mathematics in general. Specific interests include:

• numerical multlinear algebra, broadly defined to be the development and study of numerical algorithms for multilinear algebra and their applications;
  
  
• mathematical and computational aspects of ranking, including voting theory, statistical ranking, machine-learned ranking;
  
  
• applications of machine learning/pattern recognition methodologies to engineering, medical, and scientific computing.
