Research Interests

• Nonparametric curve estimation, inference and prediction. In particular: asymptotic theory (convergence rates, limit distributions), smoothing parameter selection, simultaneous confidence regions, and applications to tests.
• Functional data analysis: regression, prediction, and classification problems.
• Spatio-temporal statistics and applications to weather, climate, and environmental sciences.
• Statistical analysis of neuroimaging data.
